Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Requirements Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and validating software requirements for application software products. The ideal candidate has experience working within the automotive industry or a similar regulated engineering environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and document software requirements for application software projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and testing teams to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable.
- Support requirement verification and validation activities, including reviewing and executing test plans.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or requirements development.
- Experience writing software requirements for application software within the automotive industry or a related field.
- Experience validating and testing software requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to requirements management tools and software development lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with automotive software standards and best practices.
