Job description
We are seeking a Manager for IT Project Delivery to lead a team of project managers who are responsible for delivering strategic initiatives across the organization. This role will develop project delivery standards, governance, and portfolio visibility while partnering with business and technology leaders to improve execution, strengthen collaboration, and drive successful outcomes across enterprise programs., * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers fostering professional growth and delivery excellence.
- Establish project management standards, governance, and best practices that improve consistency and execution.
- Develop scalable processes for project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and reporting.
- Improve project prioritization, portfolio visibility, and leadership reporting through meaningful metrics and dashboards.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align project execution with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve delivery challenges across multiple teams.
- Advise Leadership on project health, risks, dependencies, and portfolio performance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement project management tools, automation, and AI capabilities that enhance delivery.
- Support the evolution of enterprise project and portfolio management capabilities while balancing governance with agility.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading project, program, portfolio, or project delivery functions.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing project managers.
- Proven success delivering large, cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
- Experience establishing or improving PMO processes, governance, and delivery frameworks.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with project portfolio management tools and reporting platforms.
- Experience supporting organizational transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI and automation technologies that improve project delivery.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, or similar project management certification.
