Experteer Overview In this role you will solve real business problems by building and deploying machine learning models within RBC's US Wealth Management Applied AI team. You will work across data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and governance to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into ML-enabled outcomes and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. This position offers exposure to causal inference, time-series forecasting, and model interpretation at scale, with growth opportunities in AI governance and responsible AI practices. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with business partners to understand objectives and formulate data-driven solutions * Prepare, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data * Develop, implement, and deploy statistical models and ML applications at scale * Create visualizations and storytelling to convey insights and actionable recommendations * Learn and apply new methods and tools from research communities * Communicate results to technical and business stakeholders * Develop predictive data models and perform quantitative analyses on large data sources * Support Senior Data Scientists through the ML lifecycle * Evaluate models offline and monitor production models for drift and performance * Document experiments and support AI governance, presenting findings to stakeholders Tasks * Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics * 2-3 years of experience in data solutions and applying data techniques * 3+ years of experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling * Experience with causal inference and experimentation, time-series forecasting, predictive marketing and advertising, and model interpretation * Proficiency with ML/DL libraries: sklearn, tensorflow, pytorch * Proficiency with analysis tools: pandas, pySpark, scala Spark, SQL, Hive * Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills * Experience presenting to diverse audiences * Basic understanding of Generative AI and LLMs, familiarity with prompt engineering and AI governance * Knowledge of OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Azure OpenAI APIs Key requirements * competitive compensation * flexible benefits * 401(k) with company matching * health insurance * dental insurance * paid time off
