Experteer Overview In this role you lead a multi-disciplinary systems engineering team within FAST Labs to deliver mission-critical capabilities for the U.S. military. You will shape SE processes, guide talent development, and ensure program execution across design, testing, and integration. You'll drive adoption of advanced methods to boost efficiency and quality, while aligning work with corporate policies and the mission to protect those who protect us. The work blends leadership, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced defense environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and manage a systems engineering team of 8-12 engineers through requirements, design, test, verification, and support of critical mission capabilities * Champion tailored system engineering processes and culture, ensuring the team has tools and expertise to succeed * Develop and scale technical talent through recruitment, training, and career development aligned with business needs * Optimize resource allocation by strategically assigning engineers to programs, IRADs, and proposals * Drive adoption of Digital Engineering, GenAI, and MBSE to improve efficiency and product quality * Facilitate strategic communication and knowledge transfer across the team and with stakeholders * Ensure organizational alignment and compliance with cultural principles and policies Tasks * Active Secret Clearance * Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field * 10+ years of professional experience in radar, spectrum, communications, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, or EO/IR systems * Experience leading systems engineers within multi-disciplined teams through all lifecycle phases * Proven ability to guide individuals and support career development * Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines * Experience developing proposals and engineering work plans for Department of War research and development efforts * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements * Proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python Key requirements * health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) savings plan * disability coverage * life and accident insurance * paid time off and holidays * tuition assistance
