Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you design, develop, and test simulation-focused software to support end-user training and business needs. You work within a cross-functional, Agile team to architect and deliver flight simulation solutions that impact current and future programs. The position emphasizes collaboration with Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, and Test teams to solve complex problems in a simulated environment. This is a mission-driven opportunity at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, with active government clearance requirements and potential relocation support. Compensation / Benefits * Design, architect and develop simulation software and training applications * Participate in full SDLC including requirements, design, integration, testing and delivery * Analyze system capabilities and resolve programmatic issues * Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in an Agile Scrum environment * Work on software across multiple baselines and configurations * Develop and test software in simulated training environments Tasks * Bachelor's degree in STEM (Level 2) with 2 years or Master's with 0 years of related software experience; or Bachelor's with 5 years or Master's with 3 years or PhD with 1 year (Level 3) * Experience with the full SDLC * Proficiency in C, C++, and Python * Experience with Jira, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity * Active U.S. Government Secret clearance; ability to obtain SAP clearance * Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK or Melbourne, FL; willingness to travel ~10% * Desirable: knowledge of JSE, DIS, HLA; experience with flight training systems and simulated threat environments Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * relocation assistance (may be available)
