Job description

In collaboration with the Director of Digital Experience, the Product Owner drives the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Goldstar's digital products, including the Shopify website, customer integrations, and product data platform capabilities. The role gathers requirements from internal and external customers, translates them into actionable user stories, and works closely with engineering, product data, and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements that improve customer experience and operational efficiency. The Product Owner also applies market and competitor insights to shape a forward-looking roadmap that strengthens Goldstar's position and ensures our digital products evolve ahead of customer expectations.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the roadmap for website, integrations, and product-data enhancements.
  • Prioritize the backlog based on business value, customer impact, and effort.
  • Define and communicate release plans and sprint scope.

Requirements & Customer Insight

  • Partner with Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Logistics, and external customers to understand needs and pain points.
  • Conduct discovery sessions, demos, and feedback loops.
  • Produce clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.

Execution & Delivery

  • Serve as the bridge between DX and Engineering/Cimpress, ensuring clarity on requirements and priorities.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide timely acceptance of completed work.
  • Validate functionality through UAT in partnership with internal teams.

Product Data & PIM/MCP Alignment

  • Work closely with the Product Data team on taxonomy, attributes, naming, and product readiness.
  • Ensure product data supports website display, pricing logic, integrations, and regional differences.

Digital Integrations

  • Own business-side requirements for customer and partner API capabilities.
  • Support partner onboarding and assist with troubleshooting integration.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize integration patterns.

Website Management

  • Drive continuous improvement in UX, content, features, search, navigation, product setup, and cart flows.
  • Partner with Marketing on messaging, with Merchandising on data accuracy, and with Customer Care on operational needs.

Analytics & Measurement

  • Use analytics to identify friction points and opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs such as conversion, error rates, search success, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Digital Product roles.
  • Experience with eCommerce, product data platforms, APIs, or system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of user experience and customer-centric design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to write clear requirements and user stories.
  • Experience with agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the Promotional Products industry.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Shopify or other modern eCommerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of PIM systems and ERP integrations.
  • Experience with B2B digital products.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and global catalog models., * Customer-centric with strong understanding of pain points and value drivers.
  • Excellent communicator who can bridge business and technical teams.
  • Strong prioritization skills with focus on business impact.
  • Comfortable with technical concepts and system interactions.
  • Effective collaborator across engineering, data, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Market-aware, using industry and competitor insights to inform the roadmap.
  • Clear and structured thinker who reduces ambiguity and drives alignment.

Success Criteria (First 6 Months)

  • Clear, prioritized backlog for post-launch Shopify enhancements.
  • Documented roadmap for integrations and customer API improvements.
  • Stable process for receiving and triaging cross-functional requests.
  • Strong working relationships across Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Data, and Cimpress Engineering.
  • Reduced ambiguity in requirements and improved UAT outcomes.
