Job description

Experteer Overview As a DevOps Engineer, you will own and evolve the infrastructure supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem enterprise software. You'll work within a team modernizing the platform, expanding tooling, observability, and automation to drive scalable, reliable deployments. You will collaborate with customers during installations and upgrades, influencing engineering best practices and production support. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented role where you solve complex technical challenges and continuously learn. You will contribute to cloud-native initiatives and help shape the tooling and processes that power mission-critical software. Compensation / Benefits * Build and manage scalable infrastructure across cloud (Azure, DigitalOcean) and on-prem environments * Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes * Operate and optimize Kubernetes, Docker, and related container tooling in production * Implement observability, monitoring, and centralized logging; support performance testing * Collaborate with customers during installations, upgrades, and deployments * Drive automation across infrastructure and platform tooling; contribute to security and reliability Tasks * Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting * Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes * Experience supporting Docker Swarm * Hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud services * CI/CD pipelines design/maintenance (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) * On-premises software deployments and customer environments * Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) * Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging) * Load/performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, Locust, or equivalent) * PostgreSQL or other relational databases * Messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar) * Networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing) * Git-based version control * Strong documentation and communication skills * Customer-facing installation/upgrade experience Key requirements *
