Job description
Work as an integral part of the ECM Application development team. Responsible for designing, integration, developing and supporting web-based workflow applications and related backend systems. This person will provide application architectural solutions and resolve complicated application issues including performance tuning. This person will serve as a FileNet Developer for application development of new applications or enhancements to existing applications., Perform and participate in design and code reviews
Take ownership of initial code quality including unit testing
Provide technical support to internal customers
Be responsible for the health and maintainability of our codebase
Monitor and maintain/enhance the ongoing performance of systems.
Requirements

FileNet Fullstack Development-(Experience with version 5.2 is a plus)

Java Development- (Main focus is FileNet, but needs to have some Java)

Object Oriented Design and Programming
-
Windows Server and Linux, Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-starter with a strong initiative
Provide technical mentoring to other team members, * Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

7+ years of experience in designing and developing FileNet applications and related middle tier services

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills demonstrated ability to work in a team Environment

Prior experience with BPM software;

Experience with IBM FileNet P8 4.0 or higher or other equivalent enterprise class workflow systems is a plus

Experience with IBM Case Manager is a plus.

Software development experience (i.e. JAVA, .NET) and understanding of full SDLC

Experience deploying and working with solutions on J2EE server platforms (i.e. WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss), Preferrably Websphere.

Prior experience with relational databases (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle)

Experience with both Windows Server and Linux

Prior experience with Subversion is a plus., 1. Good comm skills are a big priority
- Duration: 6+ months
Ideally they would like someone who would be able to convert to full time, but the manager is open to H1B candidates.
