System Test Engineer

An established engineering organization supporting mission-critical communications systems is seeking a System Test Engineer to join its Test & Integration team.

This position focuses on system-level testing of complex hardware and software solutions supporting highly available communications environments. The engineer will participate in informal testing, customer acceptance testing, and integration activities while working closely with engineering teams and end users.

The role is hybrid but requires candidates to spend significant time onsite during Formal Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities with customers., Develop and execute formal system-level test procedures Create comprehensive test plans, verification procedures, and traceability documentation Perform functional, performance, security, and integration testing Support customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Document defects and reproduce issues for engineering teams Manage laboratory test environments, equipment, and test scripts Review system requirements and ensure complete test coverage Interface directly with customers during formal testing events Maintain detailed test records and communicate results to engineering leadership

5+ years of system-level hardware and software testing experience Experience testing mission-critical communications, networking, telecommunications, or Air Traffic Management systems Strong experience writing formal test documentation Experience supporting customer acceptance testing Background with VoIP, networking, telecommunications, or radio communications Excellent written and verbal communication skills BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
