Director, Architect

Experteer Overview As Director, Architect, you will shape security-focused architecture for Fidelity Charitable's digital ecosystem, guiding critical programs and elevating the security posture across enterprise teams. You will set technical vision, drive security standards adoption, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver multi-year capabilities. Your work will address emerging threats, deliver blueprints and frameworks, and influence senior leadership on roadmaps. Compensation / Benefits * Influence product roadmaps with senior leadership to align security objectives * Drive adoption of enterprise security standards across teams * Produce high-quality architecture blueprints and security frameworks * Provide technical vision for multi-year security programs and new business capabilities * Collaborate across Fidelity Charitable and enterprise teams to evolve platforms * Define and maintain the overall technical strategy and coordinated roadmap * Evaluate threats and implement secure architecture across application layers * Support migration planning and provide tangible PoCs to validate concepts Tasks * Deep understanding of application security practices and risk mitigation * Experience with SOA, microservices, event-driven and serverless architectures * Identity management expertise (SSO, federated identity, provisioning) * Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Principles, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred * Knowledge of IAM, cryptography, access controls, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, secrets management * Experience with firewall/WAF, edge services, DMZ concepts * Cloud security experience with AWS; able to guide security across cloud environments * Java and Spring framework development experience; API, streaming, messaging, file exchange integration * Proven ability to translate concepts into PoCs and concrete migration plans * Strong communication and cross-team collaboration; aligns with enterprise direction * Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field Key requirements *
