Experteer Overview As a Solutions Architect at Databricks, you drive adoption of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform for customers. You'll craft architectures, run proofs of concept, and guide implementations that deliver strategic business value, while collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams. You'll evangelize Databricks' open-source projects and represent our platform in the wider developer community. This role blends deep technical leadership with customer engagement and ecosystem building. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical leadership for customers evaluating and adopting Data and AI solutions from Databricks * Consult on big data architecture, implement proofs of concepts, and validate cloud integrations * Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications * Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues * Evangelize Databricks open-source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas) across communities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive relationships across the company * Travel to customers up to 30% Tasks * 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role * Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems * Programming in at least one: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R * Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Experience in at least one: Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka); Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS); Data Science/ML (pandas, scikit-learn, HPO) * Preferred: Degree in a quantitative discipline; Databricks Certification (nice to have) Key requirements *
