Experteer Overview In this role you drive the modernization of GLG's infrastructure, shifting from manual operations to automated, code-driven processes. You'll own and harden core systems across AWS, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server, while championing IaC, CI/CD, and least-privilege security. You'll work across identity, email, cloud, and core infra with a DevOps/SRE mindset, learning quickly and guiding migration trade-offs. This is a global, 24/7 environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and AI-assisted improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Automate and operate core infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server with reliability, security, and least-privilege defaults * Engineer identity and access across Entra ID, Active Directory, and SailPoint, including provisioning and governance * Own and improve enterprise email flow (Exchange Online, secure gateway, SPF/DKIM/DMARC) across sending platforms * Evaluate inherited architecture, justify changes with pros/cons and migration trade-offs * Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using OpenTofu and Spacelift for version-controlled, reproducible environments * Put infrastructure and automation under Git with PR review and CI/CD workflows * Support and extend cloud footprint in AWS and Azure, including networking and identity * Participate in 24/7 operations, incident response, postmortems, and automated fixes * Use AI to troubleshoot, script, document, and share effective practices with the team * Raise the bar on security, reliability, and documentation through code review and collaboration Tasks * 3-5 years in systems / infrastructure / platform / SRE engineering * DevOps/SRE mindset focused on automation over manual work * Ability to question existing approaches and assess trade-offs * Solid scripting and automation: PowerShell and Bash required; Python or JavaScript a plus * Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, OpenTofu); comfortable with Git and PR-based review * Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows Server * Comfort with identity platforms: Entra ID, Active Directory; SailPoint a plus * Familiarity with enterprise email: Exchange Online, Mimecast, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, or willingness to grow * Cloud experience in AWS and/or Azure (AWS is primary), including networking and core services * Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) * Security-first, least-privilege mindset * Curiosity about using AI tools to improve speed and quality * Clear communicator and team player across a distributed team * Ability to work 9-5 ET with occasional after-hours/on-call rotations Key requirements * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage * Flexible paid time off * 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with employer match * Tuition reimbursement * Paid parental leave and adoption reimbursement * Wellbeing/app subscriptions and counselling support
