Staff Platform Engineer (FedRAMP)

Experteer Overview In this role you will accelerate secure, enterprise-grade PAM products using modern AI-assisted tools, contribute to the FedRAMP program, and design scalable cloud infrastructure. You'll work with cross-functional teams on a cloud-native stack, improve shared services, and mentor junior engineers. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to development of PAM products using AI pair-programming and ML-assisted workflows * Lead design and code reviews to ensure scalable, multi-tenant, and redundant systems * Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure on Kubernetes/EKS, AWS services, and Terraform * Scale and maintain shared services and frameworks as usage grows * Evaluate and optimize system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure reliability * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers * Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security, and operations engineers * Operate, support, and upgrade existing services and frameworks Tasks * 7+ years of backend software development experience in Go, Java, or C++ (Go preferred) * 4+ years experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases * Strong understanding of cloud deployments, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and security practices * Experience with REST APIs and building/integrating them * Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, and Docker * Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization * Familiarity with Agile software development * Ability to access federal environments or obtain required U.S. Person status (as per role) Key requirements * equity * bonus * health insurance * 401(k) * paid leave * parenteral leave
