We're looking for a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our growing Search team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, model, validate and test algorithms by applying Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing techniques against various real-world datasets including behavioral data.
- Improve existing products and create new ones by applying advanced algorithms and techniques.
- Help develop roadmaps for application, assist with scoping and implementation for such products.
- Analyze and optimize code for efficiency and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science or related with 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Solid knowledge of various Machine Learning techniques.

Expertise with Natural Language Processing, such as Named entity recognition, Part-of-speech tagging, Language Model etc.

Excellent Java and/or Python programming skills. DESIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:

Understanding of the internals of the state of the art Machine Learning techniques.

Development experience with Search technologies such as SOLR and/or Lucene or any other leading open source/commercial search engine.

Experience in using libraries/frameworks like tensorflow, caffe or nltk.

Experience with Big Data Technologies (MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Yarn, Storm), understands the concepts and technology ecosystem around both real-time and batch processing in Hadoop
