Alex Waldherr

Molecular medicine student exploring quantum computing software and responsible tech.

Alexandra Waldherr applies quantum computing concepts to biology and drug development. With a background in chemical engineering, she is currently completing her studies in molecular medicine.

She co-founded the Quantum Society Austria in 2021 and serves as a Fellow at the Stanford Center for Responsible Quantum Technology. Her work spans qubit hardware and software, looking specifically at how nature can inspire more efficient code. She previously spent time researching at CERN, the European Space Agency, and BASF.
