Andrew Paul
Software engineer and educator helping teams build and test systems that matter.
Andrew Paul writes code and teaches developers. After more than a decade in classrooms and engineering departments, he realized brilliant individuals often struggle in teams without clear communication. He currently consults on architecture and trains development teams globally, helping them write resilient code and explain why it matters.
Much of his work focuses on system safety and testing blind spots. Prompted by a dangerous failure in his own insulin pump’s algorithm, he challenges the industry to rethink how we validate machine learning. He advocates for testing strategies that prioritize human impact over simple coverage metrics.
