Arjan Tijms co-founded OmniFish, building enterprise support systems around Jakarta EE. He leads several core Jakarta projects—covering security, authentication, and expression language. He also co-created the Duke’s Choice Award-winning OmniFaces library for JSF.
Beyond writing three books on the platform, Arjan helps shape its future on the Jakarta EE Steering and Specification committees. He maps out the practical impacts of these updates, teaching developers how to handle new release cadences, framework integrations, and performance optimizations for Jakarta EE 11.
