Chris Wysopal builds security software as co-founder and CTO at Veracode. He is one of the original vulnerability researchers. He joined L0pht Heavy Industries in 1992, built early tools like netcat for Windows, and testified on Capitol Hill about government computer security.
He now focuses on how generative AI impacts cybersecurity. His research examines the risks of developers trusting AI-generated code and new threats introduced by LLMs. To help teams catch flaws early, he wrote The Art of Software Security Testing.
