Debashis Saha leads engineering for Expedia Group’s travel foundations. His teams build the core platforms—covering payments, identity, and loyalty—that handle reservations for travelers worldwide. Before Expedia, he engineered distributed systems at companies like PayPal, Intuit, and eBay.
He focuses on how AI changes the software development lifecycle. His work looks at shifting from early tooling adoption to connected, agentic systems that help engineering teams ship faster without losing quality.
Outside of building global platforms, Debashis advises and invests in early-stage startups. He holds degrees from MIT and IIT Kharagpur.
