Gerardo Pardo-Castellote builds secure, real-time distributed systems. As the CTO of RTI, he led the creation of RTI Connext DDS and helps shape data distribution standards as a board member of the Object Management Group (OMG).
His work centers on middleware and publish-subscribe architectures for complex environments. Recently, he has focused on the practical realities of bringing AI into the physical world, exploring how to deploy models on hardware with strict power constraints and intermittent connectivity.
