Leigh-Ann Russell directs global technology and engineering at BNY. She manages the software and infrastructure that powers the bank’s digital platforms, focusing on security and resilience for client systems.
Before BNY, she ran innovation and engineering at BP, holding roles as Chief Scientist, CTO, and CDO. She also guided BP’s supply chain modernization during the pandemic. At World Congress 2026 North America, she shared her approach to enterprise engineering as a keynote speaker.
A chartered engineer, Leigh-Ann serves as an honorary Professor of Practice at Queen’s University Belfast.
