Mario Román Dono builds high-volume edge infrastructure. As a Software Engineer on Twilio’s Edge Services team, he maintains the public-facing systems that securely route over 20 billion requests each week. His work centers on platform engineering, creating tools that help internal developers ship faster without sacrificing reliability.
Before Twilio, Mario built large-scale media software for major European TV operators at EPAM. He specializes in untangling legacy technical debt and migrating critical ingress systems to modern architectures with zero customer disruption.
