Marko Matotan is a Chief DevOps and Senior Software Engineer at Kodius. He started coding at age ten and has spent his career building systems across fintech and healthtech.
Recently, he shifted his focus to DevOps to fix heavy platform bottlenecks for clients. This work led to moving 60 applications off Amazon and back to bare metal servers. He detailed this cloud exit in his recent talk, explaining how his team rebuilt their Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines from scratch to cut costs by 80 percent.
Outside of infrastructure, he loves exploring algorithms and figuring out how complex systems tick.
