Mats Kuuskemaa helps global entrepreneurs access Estonia’s digital infrastructure. Leading the e-Residency programme across Central Europe, he focuses on expanding borderless business opportunities.
Before working in digital identity, he spent almost a decade as an Estonian diplomat in India and China. His background in international trade shapes his approach to building startup networks, a topic he explored in his talk on the anatomy of a thriving innovation ecosystem.
Based in Berlin, Mats has co-founded two startups and occasionally moonlights as a journalist.
