Mert Ersoy builds database internals and distributed systems at NocoDB. He took an unusual path to infrastructure—originally training as a medical doctor, he prototyped NocoDB’s first AI features during an ER night shift before leaving clinical practice entirely.
Today, he leads engineering for their multi-tenant cloud architecture. He recently solved how to give enterprise users direct SQL access on shared infrastructure, breaking down his custom TCP proxy in his talk on virtual single-tenancy in Postgres.
