Mihir Gandhi
Backend engineer at RudderStack scaling high-volume event processing systems.
Mihir Gandhi builds distributed systems and data infrastructure at RudderStack. He focuses on making event ingestion and stream processing scale reliably. Before this, he handled large financial data warehouses at Oracle.
Mihir likes to share practical lessons from running production environments. He recently broke down how to push PostgreSQL to handle 100,000 events per second—processing 6.7 trillion events total—proving it can be a highly capable queue alternative to Kafka.
He is a graduate of IIT Roorkee.
