Peter Bosch builds the software foundation for the Volkswagen Group as CEO of CARIAD. He focuses on turning cars into technology products, pushing the transition toward software-defined vehicles.
His work centers on integrating AI assistants, automated driving, and digital ecosystems into the everyday commuting experience. Before CARIAD, he directed production at Bentley and optimized manufacturing strategies across the Volkswagen brand.
He also advises Scout Motors on developing electric trucks for the US market. He holds degrees in economics and mechanical engineering, and lives near Munich with his family.
