Reinhard tests the security of industrial and cyber-physical systems at SBA Research. He focuses on taking academic research methods—like combinatorial security testing—and applying them directly to automotive and cloud infrastructure.
Drawing on his background in cyber defense, he trains teams to build more secure products. Recently, he has been digging into the automotive industry’s shift toward Linux-based operating systems, mapping out the unique security challenges of running software containers in modern cars.
