Tamar Bercovici leads the Core Platform engineering team at Box. She focuses on scaling the infrastructure that powers the Box Content Cloud and runs the company’s annual hackathon.
She explores the realities of shipping at scale, including the technical challenges of running AI-generated code in production. Her talks break down the governance, trust, and infrastructure decisions engineering teams face when AI tools move beyond weekend prototypes.
Prior to Box, she was an early employee at XMPie. Tamar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
