For Zeina, her role is characterised by being diverse and always evolving. Whenever she reaches a point where she thinks she has figured it out, she discovers that there is something new to learn. “That’s what I love about it! The one constant in my role is that it revolves around people, and people will never cease to surprise me!”

She also likes challenges because they keep life interesting! She is most motivated by challenges that lead to something better.

When Fabien started at Telespazio, he directly joined the European Ground Systems Common Core project as a Delivery Manager. In his role, he found a very skilled, experienced and supportive environment while addressing a very challenging project.

Since then, he has moved onto more exciting challenges, like forming a product team with the right skills and mind-sets to develop and deliver a very cool product, EASE-Rise (a Ground Segment Software-as-a-Service platform). “With this innovative product, as a team, we all thrive to conquer the new space market which comes, by definition, with a whole lot of challenges on many perspectives.”

Sharon has always been fascinated by stars, planets and space, so for her, stepping into space sciences and engineering was a natural step. From there, she began picking up interest in the field of space operations. “Since Telespazio is one of the leading companies in this field, I decided to pursue my interests with them. It surely brings me one step closer to space.” 

Here at Telespazio, she has a wonderful team and supportive management. She enjoys interacting with people in an international and diverse environment, along with an open style of communication with everyone.

Working with data and payload in Earth observation can bring up many challenges and exciting projects. How do we support our customers to create solutions that fit the needs of modern Earth Observation applications? Sebastian mainly works on problems with the Galileo Networks at GCC-D and remote sites, like antenna locations all around the globe. This involves troubleshooting, analysing and resolving any anomalies that can occur during operations. “The mix of a great work atmosphere, my background in software engineering and networks are the key to being effective in my job.”

Sebastian was also able to be around the Control Centre during the preparation and actual launch of the next Galileo Satellite. Here at Telespazio, you will have many opportunities to find a position that is right for you!
