Modern Workplace Microsoft 365 Engineer

Modern Workplace and Microsoft 365 is a new journey for us as a group, and you will play a key role in helping us consolidate and optimize collaboration across Europe. This role requires solid expertise in Exchange Online administration, Microsoft 365 security, and tenant migrations. You will be part of a team that designs and implements solutions to strengthen collaboration, improve security, and streamline operations across multiple regions and brands.

As a trusted technical specialist, you will focus on managing Exchange Online, ensuring robust security across Microsoft 365 services, and contributing to complex migration projects. You will bring hands-on skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work with colleagues across countries and IT departments.

Responsibilities Manage and configure Exchange Online, including application addon's, mail flows, transport rules, policies, and advanced settings. Implement, support and enhance security for Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive, including data breach prevention, monitoring, reporting, and alerting. Contribute to Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, working within a project team handling multiple countries, domains, brands, and third-party mail systems. Use your good understanding of PowerShell to improve consistency, and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with local IT departments, and the CISO team to align on standards and deliver secure, reliable services.

Upcoming Projects Assist in migrating Exchange mailboxes from each entity to the central team.blue tenant. Strengthen and optimize security monitoring and response across Microsoft 365. Consolidate and streamline licenses and collaboration services across the group. Improve SharePoint/OneDrive collaboration and governance across regions.

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, At least three years of experience in an Enterprise setup.

Proven working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite

Microsoft M365 certifications are a plus

Experience in SharePoint and file collaboration for Enterprise solutions

Passion for automation and self-service solutions

Self-sufficient and a fast learner with good problem-solving skills

Proactive and able to place yourself in the mind of our end-user

Fluent in English (spoken and written) is a must

Preferred: You've Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid architecture designs, migrations, and technology.
