Job description

  • DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide Level 3 for production systems, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving incidents to ensure system reliability.
  • Automation and Infrastructure: Assist in automating deployment processes and managing cloud or on-premise infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices.
  • Continuous Integration: Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and delivery of new features and fixes.
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Contribute to technical documentation, support knowledge sharing, and promote adherence to best practices within the team.
  • Learning and Growth: Engage in ongoing learning, seeking guidance from senior engineers and participating in team meetings and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Education: EPF, HES, university degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Some experience (internship, placement year, or 1-2 years) in IT, software development, or DevOps, ideally in the financial sector.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, scripting (e.g., Bash), version control (Git), and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Bamboo, Puppet). Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms is advantageous.
  • Agile Mindset: Basic understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn from others across geographically distributed teams.
  • Additional Knowledge: Interest in corporate actions, or tax reporting is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficient in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Location: Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
