As a Business Intelligence Developer in our Berlin office, you will be part of Abacus Medicine's growing Data, Analytics & AI (DnA) department. Your role is all about turning raw data into trusted insights that drive smarter, faster decisions across the business.

You'll collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists, as well as business stakeholders across Abacus Medicine. We're a skilled and passionate team that values learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement and we're excited to expand our footprint in Berlin.

In this role, you'll work in a modern data infrastructure, design BI solutions that are both innovative and reliable, and make sure data drives real business value.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Data Modeling: Design and maintain clear, scalable data models.
• Dashboards: Build user-friendly dashboards in Power BI with a focus on storytelling and enabling better decision making that focusses on performance and business value.
• Data Quality & Governance: Validate and structure data to ensure reliable outputs.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues and business units to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Improvement: Suggest and implement innovative ideas that improve reporting, efficiency, and usability.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We're looking for a strong communicator who can translate complex data into clear insights, for both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive on problem-solving, take initiative, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

• A Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or analytics.
• Proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools such as Tableau or Qlik).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and data modeling techniques.
• Experience validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Databricks, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and data integration tools (SSIS, Data Factory, or similar).
• Fluency in English is required, German skills are a plus.
