Job description

You have a clear idea of what you want: To contribute to the vision of safe and energy-efficient flying, in a team of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who are determined to shape the future of aviation., * Act as an Engineering integrator in the propulsion systems domain for the benefit of Test activities (Integration and Flight Test)

  • Prepare and release test aircraft limitations/restrictions & load sheets
  • Review Job Orders for test aircraft installations
  • Support engineering with test requirements and test plans with a clear understanding of test prerequisites and instrumentation
  • Take charge for the flight test schedule to meet key milestones
  • Brief flight crew on aircraft systems/changes
  • Support the Test Hazard Assessment with expertise and expected results
  • Prepare or Review Flight Test Orders
  • Support test flight briefings and debriefings
  • Support the test flights on-board, in telemetry or on-call under supervision of LFTE
  • Troubleshoot and disposition test aircraft deficiencies
  • Test data reduction and analysis, prepare Certification Flight Test Reports
  • Interface with Program teams, maintenance, pilots, FTEs, Instrumentation personnel

Requirements

Do you have experience in Python?, * Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification

  • A minimum of 5 year experience in a flight test environment.
  • Experience in Aircraft Systems (Propulsion)
  • Experience in using Part33 and Part25 certification requirements
  • Proven experience in a flight test environment
  • Experience in programming with Python or similar is an advantage
  • Experience as CVE is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Structured and Results driven
  • Autonomous worker and good communicator
  • Very good written and oral knowledge in English.
