Your role

Join us in redefining the future of accounting. As a Data Scientist (m/f/x) at sevdesk, you'll help shape how AI transforms the way small businesses manage their finances. Working within a team of Product Managers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers, you'll design and deliver intelligent, data-driven solutions that make complex financial processes simpler and smarter for our users.

Here's how you'll make an impact

• Work closely with Product Managers and ML Engineers to bring AI-driven accounting solutions from concept to production.
• Be a translator of accounting and finance challenges into practical ML and NLP solutions.
• Independently design and implement LLM-powered applications such as chatbots, intelligent assistants, and financial insight tools.
• Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and semantic search systems to enhance product intelligence.
• Ensure the robustness and performance of deployed models through solid MLOps and engineering practices., Drive Impact: Make meaningful contributions and help move initiatives forward across teams. Your input will be valued, and your work will have a direct influence on sevdesk's success.

Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * A university degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, information management, statistics or other relevant areas.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data science or a related domain.
• Proven experience with NLP, embeddings, semantic search, and large language models.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML/NLP frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies such as Docker.
• A collaborative and pragmatic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and curiosity for AI innovation.
