Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Doctoral degree?, * Degree in computer science, software engineering, automation engineering, or a related field, complemented by either academic experience (PhD) or professional experience in industrial software engineering.

• Practical experience in software design and development (e.g., .NET, C++, Python, Java), also with the help of AI assistants or with AI-enhanced systems (SE4AI and/or AI4SE)
• Knowledge in edge and cloud technologies or embedded systems
• Proven track record in publishing research results at conferences and/or in journals.
• Beneficial: Domain knowledge in process automation
• Beneficial: Industrial automation technologies (e.g., Asset Administration Shell, OPC UA, IEC 61131-3, IEC 61499, etc.)
• Beneficial: Experience in project management
