Senior Application Engineer

As a Senior Application Support Engineer you will report to the Manager IT Services on progress and any issues encountered during the execution of tasks. You will be a part of the IT Services team responsible for the performance and monitoring of transaction processing for all bank card and public transport chip card payments for public transport, available to internal and external stakeholders. A financial traveler transaction follows a complex route through the system landscape and many things can go wrong along the way. Timely detection, resolution, and above all, prevention of incidents in this transaction processing is crucial. Development and Operations (DevOps) work together to further develop the system, keep it stable, manage incidents, and execute hotfixes., * Ensuring smooth transaction flow of tap trip payments

• Use and manage tooling for transaction flows and monitoring & alerting via Dynatrace
• Conduct in depth analysis and database management
• Handle standby duties and provide support during incidents
• Already living in The Netherlands and within a commutable distance to Utrecht, relocation is not supported

Do you have experience in Scripting?, * Knowledge of FareGo (Java) / OTL (Oracle DB), Postgres

• Experience managing and supporting OTL applications, including Java-based systems and various databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, and Postgres
• Scripting skills like linux, bash, powershell, or SQL
• Cassandra DB is nice to have
• Jira/Confluence or other collaboration tools
