Job description

Join our dynamic team in Rotterdam as a Platform Engineer and be a supporter of change by enabling our software engineers to work more efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining tooling that accelerates the development process, such as CI/CD pipelines and security checks for AWS components., As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development experience. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our software engineering teams, ultimately leading to better products and services for our customers. This team is many times pioneering experimentation and adoption of new technologies. You may find yourself solving problems that there is no solution recipe at NNB and potentially trying to influence other to also adopt the new standards. Besides that, other daily tasks you will face include:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline the development process
  • Develop security checks for AWS components to ensure compliance and security and provide effective solutions
  • Collaborate with platform and development teams to ensure application reliability and deployment efficiency
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify and address their tooling needs
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the development infrastructure
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of the tooling you create, You will join a team of 6 engineers dedicated to improving our development processes. You will work closely with software engineers, DevOps specialists, and security experts to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a platform or DevOps engineer
  • Hands on experience in automation and implementing recurring tasks, testing, and security in CI/CD systems.
  • Programming experience using Python
  • You are familiar with familiar with OTEL, JMeter,K8s or ServiceNow
  • You are curious about modern technologies, you are tech savvy and you have superb communication skills

  • Salary between €4,547 and €6,496 (40h) depending on your knowledge and experience
