Step up as a senior team member, providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge best practices in infrastructure management and automation. This is your chance to innovate, lead, and leave your mark!, * Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Lead the development of reusable Terraform modules and Packer images.

• Deep expertise in core AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, etc.

CI/CD Pipeline Development & Management

• Implement strategies for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment, including blue/green deployments, canary releases, and rollbacks.

DevOps & Automation

• Champion a DevOps culture within Wickes, promoting collaboration, shared responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions., Our widely recognised wellbeing strategy is something we're proud of at Wickes. • Proven experience in a Senior Platform Engineer role, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering role.
• Expertise and hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing complex infrastructure on AWS.
• Proven experience building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines from scratch and optimizing existing ones.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/ECS).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing) and security best practices in the cloud.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
