This role requires a proactive and methodical approach to handle service requests efficiently and in compliance with agreed SLAs, and to drive continuous improvement through automation and collaboration with key stakeholders.Day-to-day of the role:Support

identity and access management systems, including MS Entra and Active Directory Domain Services.Manage Microsoft mail and collaboration platforms efficiently.Handle all service requests in compliance with agreed SLAs.Collaborate with architecture and key stakeholders to continuously improve the estate.Develop, define, and refine build standards and processes to deliver greater efficiencies through automation and orchestration.Create build standards, automation, and alerting to improve efficiencies, reduce build and implementation time, and enhance monitoring of the estate.Schedule maintenance to ensure services are kept in support and protected with the available security products.Develop protection of the Active Directories through best practice, following emerging security improvements and effective management processes.Ensure new deployments align with build standards and meet automation and orchestration standards while maintaining audit and license compliance.Identify new cost-effective technologies with architecture to drive and enhance the improved user experience and automation of end-user processes.Provide out of hours cover, standby, or call-out support as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in supporting Windows Server Operating Systems and Active Directory Services.Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On capabilities (ADFS, MS Entra SSO), and Hybrid Exchange On Premise.Proficient in managing M365 (including Exchange Online, OneDrive, MS Teams).Experience in PKI Management, managing Email Gateways (Proofpoint), and Windows File Services.Experience in PowerShell administrative scripting.Familiarity with operating ITIL processes and standards.Knowledge of virtualization platforms and technology.Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to work.Methodical and analytical approach in the diagnosis and resolution of issues.Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to develop and maintain documentation to quality standards.Capable of taking the lead on design, build, and support.In the first instance please submit your CV.
