Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role goes beyond traditional black-box testing - we need someone who can deeply understand what the system or sensor is designed to do, and why each test matters. Your ability to interpret system functionality and propose meaningful, targeted tests is critical to ensuring product integrity and performance.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans that validate embedded systems and electronic components. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance., * Develop and execute system-level test plans, procedures, and test cases based on a deep understanding of product and sensors.

  • Go beyond predefined requirements to propose and develop exploratory tests that probe for weaknesses in specific functional areas.
  • Perform integration, regression, and performance testing across hardware and software components
  • Analyse test data to identify the root cause of failures, collaborating with hardware and software engineers on solutions.
  • Propose targeted tests for specific areas of functionality, informed by system architecture and design intent
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure efficient and repeatable testing.
  • Document test plans, procedures, and results with clarity, providing actionable feedback to the wider engineering team.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement in our testing methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test cases?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in 'Embedded Systems and Electronic Testing' or quality assurance, particularly products incorporating complex sensors.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle
  • Ability to interpret system-level requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., SVN) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities, * Experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • Experience in embedded systems testing or electronics testing environments
  • Professional testing certification (e.g., ISTQB).
