Software Automation Tester

Are you an experienced Software Automation Tester with a strong background in test automation, scripting, and QA best practices?<\/p>\r\n, Our customer has an opportunity for an experienced Software Automation Tester to join their Software Test team based in the Isle of Wight where they develop and deliver advanced software solutions.\n\nYou'll take a lead role in designing, developing, and implementing complex automated test suites, ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards.<\/p>\r\n, r\n

• Act as the technical lead for software test automation projects, collaborating closely with other stakeholders<\/li>\r\n
• Mentor junior members and support the wider team<\/li>\r\n
• Review requirements and design documentation to define and develop test automation strategies<\/li>\r\n
• Plan, create, and execute automated test suites (functional, integration, performance, and usability testing)<\/li>\r\n
• Maintain and optimise automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium<\/li>\r\n
• Record test results clearly and accurately, documenting defects with sufficient detail to aid diagnosis and resolution<\/li>\r\n
• Set up and manage test environments, ensuring reliability and repeatability of testing processes<\/li>\r\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and practices<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

• Qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field<\/li>\r\n
• 3+ years' experience in software test automation within a software development environment<\/li>\r\n
• Proven experience automating tests for complex applications using Selenium or similar tools<\/li>\r\n
• Programming knowledge in Java and\/or Python for developing automation scripts<\/li>\r\n
• Experience testing products built with MS SQL, ASP.NET, and C#<\/li>\r\n
• Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles<\/li>\r\n
• Skilled in test planning, estimation, and risk management<\/li>\r\n
• Able to work full time on site in the Isle of Wight or willing to relocate<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
