IT Support Technician (1st Line)IT Managed Services Provider - Reading (onsite 5-days a week)Salary: up to £30K (DOE)Established for over 15 years, our client is a well-regarded MSP based in Reading, providing IT and Telecoms support to over 300 businesses across the South East. They specialise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Virtualisation, and Cloud Migrations, and are known for their friendly, customer-focused approach.Position Overview:The IT Support Technician will be part of a growing technical team, delivering high-quality 1st Line support to a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone with solid troubleshooting skills, a passion for customer service, and a desire to grow within a dynamic MSP environment.Key Skills required: Prior experience in an IT Service Desk role (MSP Experience is preferred)Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, file/print servicesMicrosoft 365 setup, support, and administration (including Exchange and SharePoint)Familiarity with service desk ticketing systemsExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsFull UK Drivers licence - requiredDesirable Skills: Exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud migration projectsKnowledge of backup solutions (e.g., Acronis)Experience with email migration toolsKey Responsibilities: Respond to customer calls and support tickets, resolving issues within SLAProvide remote and occasional on-site support for installations and fault resolutionMaintain clear communication with clients regarding ticket progressEscalate critical issues appropriately and liaise with suppliers when neededAssist with provisioning and configuring new services What You'll Get: Starting salary up to £30,000 DOEMonday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm schedule20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysStatutory pension schemeSupportive team environment with real career progression opportunitiesOptional overtime available Apply now to Gianluca @ circlerecruitment (dot) com to join a forward-thinking MSP with a strong reputation and a friendly team culture.
