Are you a Network Engineer who thrives on being hands-on - from the rack to the router? We're looking for a technically minded engineer with solid routing and switching skills to join a well-established IT & network services provider in West Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves building, installing, and supporting real-world network solutions - not just designing them on paper., * Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Carry out on-site deployments, including racking, patching, and cabling network hardware in cabinets and comms rooms.
- Perform CAB swaps, hardware refreshes, and network upgrades across client environments.
- Deliver field-based support and troubleshooting, ensuring client networks remain stable and performant.
- Conduct site audits and produce clear documentation for installations and changes.
- Work closely with internal project and support teams to ensure seamless handover and ongoing service quality.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours or overtime support during project rollouts or maintenance windows (with additional pay)

- Routing & Switching - layer 2/3 configuration and support (Aruba, Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.)
- Wireless Networks - deployment and support of Aruba and Cisco Wi-Fi solutions
- Network Security - VLANs, ACLs, and firewall rulebase awareness (Fortinet / Palo Alto desirable)
- Monitoring & Management Tools - SolarWinds, Aruba AirWave, or similar platforms
- Cabling & Infrastructure - structured cabling, patching, and comms cabinet standards
Requirements
- Mid-level Network Engineer (ideally 3-5+ years' experience) with proven hands-on installation and support skills.

- Aruba networking experience preferred; Cisco knowledge also highly regarded.
- Certifications (e.g. Aruba Certified, CCNA, CCNP) desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the region.
- Based within commuting distance of our West Yorkshire HQ., This is an excellent role for a hands-on engineer who loves variety, problem-solving, and seeing their work in action. You'll be part of a growing business with a great reputation for delivery - where your expertise makes a visible difference to clients every day.

- £45,000 - £50,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- Generous overtime opportunities - realistic OTE £60,000-£70,000+
- Training and certification support (including Aruba and Cisco pathways)
- Friendly, technically skilled team environment with strong retention and support culture
- Exposure to diverse client environments across Yorkshire and the North of England
