As an integral part of L-Acoustics, you will play a key role in driving our success through your exceptional technical support, comprehensive training, and innovative system design. Your efforts will not only enhance customer confidence but also significantly expand our brand's impact in the region.
As the Application Engineer for Benelux & Nordics, you will have the exciting responsibility of designing and deploying L-Acoustics systems while providing expert technical support and on-site engineering. You'll collaborate closely with integrators, rental companies, and end users to ensure project success and deliver a top-notch customer experience.
As a member of the Northern Europe Application Team, you'll be instrumental in enhancing market confidence while positioning yourself as a prominent technical ambassador.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support & System Design:

Lead system design and specification for installation and touring projects.

Generate high-quality technical deliverables, reports, and documentation.

Equip end-users with insights into L-Acoustics and industry-standard tools to support high-quality deployments.
On-Site Technical Support:

Conduct on-site calibration - measurement and verify performance of L-Acoustics systems.

Provide hands-on engineering support for concerts, special events, and prominent audio installations.
Client & Partner Enablement:

Develop and maintain professional relationships with rental providers, integrators, venue stakeholders and our certified partner network.

Act as a vital technical liaison between clients, the sales team, and L-Acoustics headquarters.

Support market development by offering reliable, informed technical guidance tailored to local needs.
Training, Workshops & Presentations:

Lead training and workshops that elevate our technical user base.

Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to consultants, end users, and engineers.

Foster collaborative efforts during workshops, company events, and product showcases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Share field feedback, workflow insights, and feature requests with Sales, Education, and Product Management.

Contribute to the rollout of new products and technologies by supporting regional partners with technical context and education.
Requirements

Experience in the professional audio industry of at least 7 years.

Practical experience with sound system deployment, tuning, and verification in touring and/or fixed installation environments.

Proficient in sound system design, modelling, and measurement using industry standard tools.

Proficient in CAD (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Sketchup or equivalent).

Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to interact with both technical and commercial stakeholders confidently.

Ability to work independently with up to 75% travel.

Fluent in English, with Dutch language proficiency preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Audio, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience within the Benelux and/or Nordic professional audio markets, including established relationships with consultants, integrators, and rental networks.

Operational knowledge of industry leading AV control systems and networked audio transport protocols including Milan AVB.
