Software in Test (SWET) - 37052Start date: ASAPDuration: 12 monthsLocation: 1 week in Galway - 3 weeks working from homeRate: €350 - €400 per dayThe Expertise We're Looking For5+ years' experience in software quality engineeringExperience creating test automation solutions in tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Fitnesse, Karate or SeleniumExperience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment toolsProficient in Java or equivalent software languagesGood level of SQL and database knowledgeExperience with Agile methodologies and ceremoniesExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Salesforce or other CRM experience welcome but not essential The Purpose of Your RoleAs part of an agile scrum team, you will contribute to the QA automation strategy and implementation for our applications, to enable rapid delivery of key customer featuresWork collaboratively with engineering and business colleagues to help define acceptance criteria and derive release testing requirementsDesign, implement and execute functional and regression test cases/suitesReproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixesAnalyse and report test results, project tracking and product release readinessThe Skills You BringYou understand all aspects of testing (unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, etc.)You promote Agile development practicesYou have great attention to detail and a passion for qualityYou can resolve issues proactively and/or identify approaches to solutionsYou can actively participate in all facets of the delivery process
