Job description
My client, a company working in the machinery and manufacturing industry, is currently searching for a FREELANCE C++ Software Engineer to join their project working on Linux-based software to interface with complex hardware systems., * Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications running on Linux operating systems
- Develop software that interfaces with hardware, tools, and instrumentation
- Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing software systems
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Debug and resolve complex software issues in production and development environments
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers to define software requirements
- Write clear technical documentation and contribute to best engineering practices
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 and newer)
- Solid experience developing software on Linux platforms
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with build systems and tools (e.g., CMake, Make, GCC/Clang)
