Network & Security Engineer

A leading Belgian organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to strengthen its Connectivity team. You will work in a complex, high-availability IT environment where performance, reliability and security are critical. In this role, you contribute to the backbone of the IT infrastructure and support both operational excellence and strategic initiatives., * Ensure availability, performance and security of network and security infrastructure in line with SLAs.

• Manage, optimise and upgrade network and security platforms, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi and firewalls.
• Provide third-line support for complex incidents and participate in major infrastructure projects.
• Automate procedures, monitor environments and advise stakeholders on technology evolution.

Do you have experience in Load balancing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Several years of experience in network & security engineering within enterprise environments.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking, routing/switching, Wi-Fi and security tools (firewalls, SOC).
• Experience with AWS networking; CCNA certification is a strong asset (F5 knowledge is a plus).
• Proactive team player with strong analytical and communication skills; fluent in French with good knowledge of English and Dutch.
