IT Administrator / System Engineer Z/OS MAINFRAME Your tasks are: The position is allocated in the team (workstream) z/System Administration & Processing Services. Our task is to provide the IBM zServer systems and the central storage systems. It is located in the area of IT infrastructure. Our activities are correspondingly diverse and always characterized by personal initiative and trusting cooperation, both within the team and beyond - always combined with appreciative exchange at eye level. These are the tasks: You accompany the design, planning, installation and administration of the z/OS operating system and the system-related SW components. You contribute to the high-level automation of a complex sysplex environment You will constantly monitor developments in this environment, take on the evaluation of new technologies in the z/OS system environment and prepare the results ready for decision You support IT operations as 2nd level support as part of the incident/problem management processes and coordinate the cause analysis and troubleshooting with the support departments involved Working on infrastructure projects will also enrich your area of responsibility skills

You have very good analytical skills and conceptual skills. You have successfully completed your studies in computer science or a comparable field of study or training You have basic knowledge of the administration of z/OS systems. You have experience in operating large IT landscapes. They were able to acquire basic know-how in the area of the z/OS operating system, system-related z/OS software products, automation of z/OS systems or in z/OS network administration First insights into ITIL processes complete your profile.
