Job description

The remote share at this point is 90%. After consultation, 100% would also be conceivable. IT Administrator - CAAS, Linux, Kubernetes As part of our internal IT department, you are the link between software development (internal & external), the department and IT operations. The team manages and works third-party software. Specifically, this is about our learning platforms for our members and educational partnerships. These platforms are currently based on the open source solution Moodle and other commercial solutions and components. The position includes tasks and responsibilities of system administration, system integration and the optimization of our processes for our customers. You use your knowledge of container solutions and complex IT infrastructures of a large company to take our learning platforms to the next level. These are your tasks: Administration and deployment of the applications via containers (CaaS) using Kubernetes and ensuring high availability. Integration of open source solutions (such as Moodle) into a complex infrastructure and the operation of the learning platforms based on it Consulting, coordination and implementation of projects in the field of system integration Provision of the responsible open source solution in different environments for test and production as well as coordination of the release management Technical and close coordination and order clarification with the external service providers as well as control and optimization of the same

Requirements

German Language Level min. B2 Several years of practical experience in the operation and system administration of complex IT infrastructures Experience with the integration of open-source applications Very good knowledge of container and virtualization solutions Kubernetes Cloud Foundry docker VMware High technical understanding First experience with operating MS SQL or PostgreSQL or MariaDB in Linux environments Practical experience in web development (PHP) is an advantage Soft skills that the new candidate should have.
